Terms of Service

1. Who we are

ShuttleScorer (also styled ShuttleScore) and the website atshuttlescorer.com are operated byVihaas Consultancy Services BV, a private limited company registered inthe Netherlands. These Terms govern your use of the app and the website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service if you are at least 16 years old, or are under 16 and have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf, and you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. What ShuttleScorer is

ShuttleScorer is a badminton match-scoring and statistics app. It is free to use, with an optional paid Pro upgrade. Statistics and analytics are provided for your own information and interest; they depend on the data you enter and are not guaranteed to be error-free.

4. No account — your data is your responsibility

The app has no accounts. Your match data is stored only on your device. That means it is yours and private to you, but also that you are responsible for it: uninstalling the app, clearing its data, or losing your device may permanently delete your matches. We cannot recover match data because we never hold it.

5. Pro purchases

• Annual subscription — renews automatically each year until you cancel.
• Lifetime — a one-time payment for permanent access to current Pro features.

All purchases are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms — we do not handle your payment details. Prices are shown in the store before you buy. Manage or cancel a subscription in your store account (cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current term). Refunds are governed by the applicable store’s policy. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

“Lifetime” means for the operational life of the app. We aim to keep the Service running indefinitely, but we cannot guarantee it will be available forever.

6. Live sharing

Live sharing (a Pro feature) lets you publish a temporary link to a match in progress. By sharing, you understand that anyone with the link can view it, and you are responsible for the content you share — including any player names you enter. Do not share other people’s personal information without their consent. Share links are temporary and expire automatically. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate sharing that is abusive, unlawful, or that degrades the Service for others.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including by attempting to disrupt or overload it, reverse-engineer or circumvent purchase or access controls, or use it to break the law or infringe others’ rights.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and content we provide, is owned by Vihaas Consultancy Services BV and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. The match data you create remains yours.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores and statistics will be free of mistakes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vihaas Consultancy Services BV is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data stored solely on your device. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer rights.

11. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country in which you live.
